What to Watch For<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Some customers may have browser extensions like Coupert, Shopback or Cashback, which automatically suggest promo codes during checkout. These codes can override the Conxxion referral, as the customer is being offered an additional benefit \u2013 such as a discount or cashback from a different partner \u2013 and when that happens, the sale won\u2019t be attributed to you, even if it came through your storefront.<\/p>\n

The Good News<\/strong><\/h2>\n

You can still claim the sale<\/strong> if a customer accidentally uses one of these codes. Just submit a missing claim within 21 days<\/strong> of the order being placed. If the customer agrees to forgo the widget\u2019s offer, MATE will attribute the sale back to you<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tip to Share With Your Customers<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Encourage your customers to manually type promo codes<\/strong> in<\/strong> like MATE25<\/strong> or RIPPER20<\/strong>,<\/span>\u00a0and avoid selecting codes from the dropdown list, as those may come from third-party widgets and override your referral.<\/p>\n
