What equipment do I need for HFC?

Legacy Cable to nbn™ HFC transition

If you have a legacy cable service and are converting to an nbn™ HFC (cable) service, you will need a nbn™ Network Termination Device (NTD) and an ACN supplied modem. As well as these devices, NBN Co may also supply and install a nbn™ Premises Connection Device (PCD) to the outside of your premise and your cable wall plates.

Legacy Cable to nbn™ FTTC (Fibre to the Curb) transition

If you have a legacy cable service and are converting to an nbn™ FTTC (fibre to the curb) service, you will need a nbn™ Network Connection Device (NCD) and an ACN supplied modem.  As well as these device, NBN Co may also need to run and install a new copper phone line in your premise if you do not already have one.

Other considerations

In addition to these scenarios, if you take our nbn™ + Phone bundle service then you may need an Digital Phone Adaptor or an ACN premium modem which we will supply to you.

When instructed by ACN via email, you will need to connect the ACN supplied modem to the NBN Co supplied and installed NCD to connect the home or business with broadband.

If you have a pay TV subscription service such as Foxtel delivered via your HFC connection, you will also need to use a cable splitter supplied by NBN Co to ensure that your pay TV subscription service works, when making the transition to the nbn™ network.  ACN recommends contacting your pay TV subscription provider before making the transition to nbn™.

Earning Statement

RVPs and SVPs (including Circle of Champions members) earn annual income achieved by fewer than 1% of ACN IBOs. Their success stories and earnings are extraordinary and not typical. Earnings as an ACN IBO are based solely upon the successful sale of products to customers and their usage of those products. Individuals will incur expenses in operating their ACN business, such as the sign-up fee and renewal fee, as well as other possible operating expenses. As with any business, earnings and success at ACN are not guaranteed but depend primarily on the individual’s commitment, persistence and effort. Individuals may not earn income and may lose money as an IBO.
