What should I do if I think my connection is slow?

The first thing to do is to ensure that the problem is not simply restricted to one or two websites. If it is limited to only some websites, those websites or the service providers they use may be experiencing a problem.

Power Cycle your equipment:
If you have an overall suspicion of a slow connection turn your modem off for 30 seconds and back on again – if you have an internal modem inside your desktop computer please reboot your computer.

Once your devices have rebooted, perform a speed test by going here

Please also take into consideration the time of day that you are testing your connection. This will help to truly ascertain if there is a fault with the speed of your connection. Also, ensure that you have conducted speed tests at different times of the day. If you have consistent slow speeds at all times of the day then please report a fault with the ACN Contact Centre.

Exceeding your monthly data allowance:
If you are experiencing below average speed please ensure you have not exceeded your monthly data allocation. If you have exceeded your monthly data allocation, your account may have been shaped. You would have received regular email updates from ACN (at 50%, 85% & 100%) to enable you to manage your data allocation. You can login to MyAccount to view your current data usage at any time.

Downloading:
If you are downloading multiple files at the same time this will consume the majority of your bandwidth – try downloading files one at a time. Try not to download files and stream video/music files at the same time.

Security and Anti-Virus:
Security and Anti-Virus programs may be running in the background. This increases your traffic and slows your connection. Please make sure your programs are not set to automatic updates and check your firewall/security settings as this can be slowing down your connection. Disable your security and anti-virus program to troubleshoot whether this is causing your slow speed.

Earning Statement

RVPs and SVPs (including Circle of Champions members) earn annual income achieved by fewer than 1% of ACN IBOs. Their success stories and earnings are extraordinary and not typical. Earnings as an ACN IBO are based solely upon the successful sale of products to customers and their usage of those products. Individuals will incur expenses in operating their ACN business, such as the sign-up fee and renewal fee, as well as other possible operating expenses. As with any business, earnings and success at ACN are not guaranteed but depend primarily on the individual’s commitment, persistence and effort. Individuals may not earn income and may lose money as an IBO.
