When my internet is connected and when I make a phone call I hear crackling noises on the call.
If you are experiencing call quality issues with your phone line service only when your Broadband service is on this indicates that you do not have a Broadband filter on your line or your filter/ splitter is faulty. Check to see that all equipment connected to your phone sockets has a filter/ splitter attached.
If you have inline filters for all your devices we recommend you remove one device and filter at a time to determine which equipment and filter is faulty, this is to isolate the issue. If you have multiple devices connected to the line we recommend you source a licenced technician to install your additional equipment.
If you have a cordless phone connected with or close to your Broadband modem try moving the phone to another phone socket or try a corded phone. Cordless phones transmit electronic signals which can interfere with your Broadband equipment.
