DSA‘s Chris Knight sat down with Conxxion Co-Owners, Gerard Frack and Audrey Rodda to hear about what has happened since the launch of Conxxion.
CK: Looking back on Conxxion’s first year, what have been the biggest lessons or turning points?
Gerard & Audrey:
Year one has been a powerful mix of transition, transformation, and deep connection. From day one, we knew this wasn’t just about launching a new brand—it was about honouring the past while building something bold and future-focused.
Audrey:
For me, it’s been all about people—listening without ego, building relationships with heart, and consistently showing up to deliver what matters. Every interaction with our IBOs (Independent Business Owners) has been an opportunity to build trust. The real game-changer has been leaning into our team—at HQ and in the field. Success always comes down to people.
Gerard:
Taking the business from a 31-year US legacy to 100% Australian ownership was a pivotal moment. Rebranding from ACN to Conxxion wasn’t just cosmetic—it was a declaration of who we are. We wanted our IBOs to feel proud, emotionally connected, and heard. Their resilience through the change was inspiring.
Reinvesting in the field—via an enhanced compensation plan, leadership retreats, and face-to-face events—helped everyone reconnect with why they joined. As an independent business, we’ve had the freedom to innovate quickly and co-create the future alongside our leaders.
At its core, our biggest lesson has been this: when you focus on meaningful connection, momentum follows. This isn’t just a business—it’s a culture. And that’s what we’re most proud of.
CK: What has surprised you most since launching Conxxion?
Gerard:
The unwavering loyalty and resilience of our IBOs has been incredible. Their ability to adapt and stay engaged through major change showed us how much this business means to them. Many achieved milestones they never imagined—just by embracing the journey and leading with heart.
We’ve also been moved by the support of our co-founders and business partners. Their genuine care kept us steady and helped us deliver on our promises.
One of the biggest validations? Seeing how powerful the referral channel becomes when it’s built on trust, integrity, and community. Our services aren’t unique—but how we deliver them is. We’re here to help our IBOs support their families and build a future—and we do that by showing up and following through.
Our values—service mindset, win together, act with integrity, give back—aren’t just words. They guide every decision. That culture? It’s our edge.
CK: What’s next for Conxxion in year two?
Gerard & Audrey:
We’re building on momentum and looking ahead with purpose. A key priority is upgrading our tech systems and forming new business partnerships to enhance service delivery and scalability.
We’re also doubling down on IBO support—more training, stronger leadership development, and better tools to simplify the path to success. Everything we do is about empowering our field to grow confidently and sustainably.
Strong relationships remain the backbone of our growth. These aren’t just transactions—our IBOs offer services to their friends and family, so trust is everything. We’re proud of the culture forming behind the scenes, with a head office team that’s fully committed to the mission.
Our commitment to giving back continues, especially through our partnership with Foodbank. Business growth and community impact go hand in hand at Conxxion.
Audrey:
What excites me most is the story we’re writing together. Conxxion is no longer just a business—it’s a movement. It’s real, dynamic, and it’s resonating. We’re building something Australians can believe in—a trusted brand that delivers value to both consumers and business owners alike.
