When Jo Tramacchi was introduced to Conxxion, she already had a full schedule. As a beauty therapist working from home, she was also delivering junk mail with her son on weekends, mowing neighbours’ lawns, and helping her brother lay turf whenever he needed an extra pair of hands.
Like many Australians, Jo was working hard. What she didn’t realise was that one conversation would open the door to a business that would not only create an additional income but also give her the freedom to dream bigger.
A Simple Introduction
Jo’s journey with Conxxion began through a family connection.
Regional Vice President Tony Burns was staying with Jo’s father when he offered to review his electricity bill. Before leaving, Tony asked if there was anyone else he could help. Jo’s father immediately suggested his daughter.
After reviewing her bill, Tony asked Jo about her work and then he introduced her to the Conxxion opportunity and explained how she could help others while creating another income stream. Although already incredibly busy, Jo saw the value immediately.
With Tony’s support and guidance, she completed her accreditation and began sharing the opportunity with people she knew.
Taking Action From Day One
Jo credits much of her early success to simply taking action. Tony provided step-by-step support, helping her build confidence and begin speaking with customers straight away. That commitment paid off quickly.
Within her first month, Jo achieved the Fast Start Bonus, earning her first $1,000 bonus and proving that consistent action produces results.
Turning Rejection Into Motivation
Like every successful IBO, Jo experienced rejection in the early stages of her business. The biggest challenge wasn’t hearing “no”—it was when people simply didn’t respond.
Instead of allowing this to discourage her, Jo learned an important lesson: follow up, but don’t dwell on those who aren’t ready. She now believes that moving on and continuing to help new people is one of the keys to long-term success.
Becoming the “Bills Lady” of Gympie
Jo built her customer base by starting with the people who already knew and trusted her. Friends and family became her first customers before referrals naturally began flowing through. Every customer received a personal thank you message and ongoing support, helping Jo build lasting relationships rather than one-off transactions.
She also made it a habit to ask every satisfied customer a simple question:
“Who else do you know that I could help?”
Community members regularly recommend her on local Facebook groups whenever someone is looking to reduce their household expenses.
Consistency Creates Success
When asked what has contributed most to her growth, Jo points to one simple habit—consistent follow-up. Whether it’s checking in with customers, asking for referrals or attending team training, she believes success comes from showing up consistently.
Being part of the Dreamcatchers team has also played a significant role in her journey. The encouragement, mentorship and positive culture within the team have helped keep her motivated and focused on achieving her goals.
Growing as a Leader
Achieving the rank of Regional Director has given Jo even more motivation to grow. Rather than seeing it as the finish line, she views it as the beginning of the next chapter. Her focus has shifted from simply building her own customer base to helping others duplicate her success. With a growing team already developing, Jo is passionate about mentoring new IBOs and supporting them to achieve their own goals.
Freedom to Live Life on Her Terms
When Jo first joined Conxxion, her goal was to create additional income while managing several part-time jobs. Since then, her vision has evolved. She now dreams of travelling around Australia while continuing to build her business from anywhere.
The flexibility Conxxion provides means she can meet new people, help families save money on their household bills, and continue growing her team—all while exploring the country. For Jo, that freedom represents far more than financial success. It represents the lifestyle she has worked hard to create.
Advice for New IBOs
Jo encourages anyone starting their Conxxion journey to stay consistent, remain committed and not be discouraged by rejection. She believes every conversation is an opportunity to help someone, and every “no” simply brings you one step closer to the next “yes.”
Most importantly, she believes Conxxion is an easy business to share because it genuinely helps people. Rather than selling products people may not need, IBOs are simply helping families reduce the cost of everyday household bills.
By staying consistent, following up, and always putting people first, she has built more than a successful business—she has built a trusted reputation within her community and a future filled with possibilities.
