As part of ACN’s ongoing commitment to offer quality products and a great customer experience, ACN has been working with Optus Wholesale to address congestion issues experienced by some of our Naked DSL and Envision customers.

Over recent months, Optus has successfully carried out upgrades to their existing infrastructure and exchange capacity at the majority of their exchanges around Australia. These upgrades mean your existing customers should be experiencing better quality service and speeds. The number of exchanges on the exchange blacklist has now more than halved from the initial 135 to 62 exchanges. This will allow more of your customers to sign up to the value-packed Naked and Envision offers without having to worry about the quality of the service.

As communicated in previous ACN In Actions, any customer who is within an Optus congested exchange area will not be able to sign up for the service. Instead, these customers will be presented with an alternative ACN Broadband or Bundle service using the Telstra network to ensure that they are provided with the best possible service at their address.

Please note, nbn™ and ADSL Broadband customers serviced by the Telstra network are unaffected by this issue.
